Just... stuff

It is, as many of you have already noticed, March. This means it is time for me to start marathoning on my White Day and St. Pat's Day art so I can have it finished by a week from Friday (as the following week, which includes, to my annoyance, both White Day and St. Pat's Day, I will have off from school and will, therefore, not have access to a working scanner). The St. Pat's art is moving right along, which, given that I hadn't _planned_ on it, is rather ironic when the White Day art is just kinda sitting there and not getting anything done. (It's most likely because I don't think I can draw gloves, let alone a glove not being worn by someone.) Fans of Recipe for Disaster should recognize Kaito's worst nightmare in the St. Pat's Day art ^_^. I felt that the four-leaf-clover boxers were very much in keeping with the holiday. That, and I am weak to people making requests. *coughcough*Ysabet*coughcough* Anyway, fanservicey. Not in the same way that the fanart for Scar was, but still fanservicey.
Also, the amount of practical use you can get out of any given body part is inversely proportional to how easy it is to draw.
Concert last night; it went pretty well, all things considered, but the theater was empty as compared to previous events. On the string program was a Mozart Flute concerto (nice), Dvorak's American Quartet (very lovely and sounded like home), Cello Choir playing Elanor Rigby (not bad, all things considered), the Rutter thing (damn annoying to play, especially since my G string slipped out of tune just before >_<), and the William Tell Overture (quite fun, and am very glad no one yelled out "Hi ho, Silver!" in the middle).
There's a certain quality to performances that's missing during rehersals. It can't be duplicated and you almost don't recognize it's there, but when you play on a stage for a live audience everything suddenly seems to come together (even if it's actually horrible ^^;). I think it might have something to do with the atmosphere created by a group of people listening, but I couldn't swear by it. Maybe I'll study it someday.
Went out for ice cream with
nekokenchan after. I got a lemon shake which was too thick to drink with a straw -_-. I am not particularly a fan of thick milkshakes. Or at least not _that_ thick.
End of second trimester today. I no longer have either Computer Programing or Video Production (thank God >_<), and instead will have Abnormal Psychology and Contemporary Literature ^_^. World Lit has switched back to fifth period. Other than that, nothing really changed. Am contemplating trying to get into another tri of Computer Graphics so I would have an in-class excuse to finish up Prince Ichi. Am aiming for the end of May as a finish date in any case. *crosses fingers, knocks on wood*
Day off tomorrow. Am looking forward to sleeping, surfing the 'net, playing Kingdom Hearts until my thumbs blister. Am not looking forward to inevitable chore list, but have to do some anyway -_-.
Between one thing and other, I'm in more or less the same mood as I was when I posted that untitled crack-pairing thing way back when. That is to say, expect yuri tomorrow. (It wants to go full-blown lemon. I'm thinking about it. (It probably will, too >_<.) If it does, full version will go up under friends lock until I am more confident in ability to write pr0n. Those interested in reading and not on the flist (if you're out there), drop me a line and I'll friend you. If you don't have a journal, drop me a line and I'll e-mail you a copy. That said, I'm not expecting anyone to ask; surprise me.)
That's about everything for now. Have a good March.
