*contented sigh*
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:47 pmHave tentatively started work on the Communications doujin. For some reason, I seem to want to work backwards, starting from the latest chapter I've written -_-a This is odd, but not the worst thing it could be, I suppose. Though, down the road from now, I'll probably look at it and remark how you can tell that I started in the middle, worked my way to the beginning, and then picked up where I left off to finish it off ^^;
Was quite worn out by Bojutsu and Shinkendo today. 'Twas a thoroughbeating workout I was given, yes. Though perhaps it was only so bad because I gave blood just more than a week ago. Anyway!
Dojo is doing the 4th of July parade again this year. I've never been in it before--if they were in it before last year, I didn't know, and last year I was in Europe at the time. Signed up for the parade this year, though! ...Sensei wants me to lead our little section o.O (At least for part of it) He's going to give me a lightweight bo (compared to mine, at least) and have me do spinny excersizes at the front of the group. (Spinny excersizes are what we call our hand-changing movements, because they involve quite a lot of spinning. It's quite fun. I'm planning on practicing a lot before the parade so I don't drop the bo too much ^^;) I'm going to be flanked by a couple of guys who will do... something, I'm not entirely clear on what. And then behind us will be people sparring as they walk and people handing out candy and stuff ^_^ And behind that will be the truck, dragging a hayrack for people to rest on. And stuff. It'll go for about three hours. Am looking forward to it ^_^
Splurged recently on Japanese snack foods and CLAMP no Kiseki ^^; Two of 'em. There are two white queens so far; this confused me until I did the math. 32 chess pieces; 3 in each CnK set; 12 sets total; therefore, 4 extra pieces. Of course, I have no confirmation that there actually will be three pieces per for the run of the series, but I hope so.
