So. Yesterday my internet connection cut out right in the middle of a conversation with MoF ;_; Didn't start working again until this morning. Didn't start working with any dependability until just an hour or two ago =_= I am reluctant to say more, lest I tempt fate.

On the plus side, I managed to get some more of East Wind written, and hope to have the rest of the last scene typed up and posted sometime today.

On a slightly different note! Are there any math/physics geeks in the audience? Come on, I know you're out there ♥ I can hear you breathing ♥ Don't be scared to admit it--I'm pretty sure we're all geeks of one sort or another here. Anyway, for those geeks in the audience, I direct you to The Sound of Friction. Actually, I also reccomend this to Simon and Garfunkel fans. Or Tom Lehrer fans. Heck, anyone who can enjoy a good song parody and doesn't absolutely hate math/physics. So click.

Also, I know there are at least a few people out there who are both math/physics geeks and FMA fans. ([livejournal.com profile] think_tomorrow? I'm looking at you, kid.) In honor of this, I bring you the following stream of consciousness. (Please forgive me if I screw up the first equations. I can't seem to locate my green sheet ~_~)
Acceleration = Force / Mass
OR!
a = f/m
OR!
f = ma
CONCLUSION: Physics + Anime = ♥

Okay, 'm done now.

*whips out calculator*

OMG! You're abosolutely right, sensei!

... I think that's one of the main reason I like FMA... It's got ACTUAL science, like the reason Roy can't make fire in the rain.

*Professor Frink voice* Mmm-ahj, I'm such a geek. With the science and the calculating, and the "I totally understand your geek jokes"-ness.

Then you'll like this joke:

There was an engineer, a physicist, and a mathematician, engaged in a contest to build a structure enclosing the largest area they could with finite material.
The engineer built a structure, but being an engineer, it was built very sturdily, so it encompassed practically no area at all. The physicist, being a physicist, built something that didn't work in a non-ideal world, so his collapsed. The mathematician built a tiny little square and stepped inside it and said, 'I define myself to be outside this structure.'

(for some reason, none of my classmates understands it o.o)

I don't know... Guess I'm more of a geek than the supposed "smartest kid" in our class.

I had to explain it to him, for Kami's sake >.

I was going to say "Nerd!", but then I realized that would just be the pot calling the kettle black...

BTW, is there an animeathon at Nick's house today?
