Summary: Shin'ichi needs a vacation
Fic: Escape

Shin'ichi fumbled through the pill bottles in the bathroom, muttering, "Where is it, where is it..." He could hear Ran calling him from outside.

"Shin'ichi! Shin'ichi, where are you?"

"Come on, come on," Shin'ichi hissed frantically. At last his fingers reached a small bottle hidden in a back corner of the cabinet. "Ah-hah!"

"Shin'ichi?"

Shin'ichi glanced guiltily at the door and then to the pill in his hands. Use it only in an emergency, Haibara had told him. This, Shin'ichi decided, was an emergency. Steeling his resolve, Shin'ichi poured a glass of water from the tap and popped the temporary apotoxin. Over all, he thought, facing Haibara's wrath was well worth the benefits of having a week away from his hormonal, pregnant wife.

Shin'ichi, you wuss, get back there and help Ran out =_= (Though really, I don't know that I can blame him...)
