Some PreCure, mostly DCMK

Someone watch Futari wa Pretty Cure with me, please? Or tell me you've seen it, or something. I wanna squee with someone over iiiit :< 'Specially the yuri-riffic moments. (I just saw the episode where they start calling each other by their first names, eeee! No honorifics or anything, EEEEE! And and and...!)


Also chugging away on the next part of Communications. (Anyone remember that fic...?) I'm about one page in, and expect it to be three to four pages (~1000 words or so). I'm fairly optimistic about it at the moment, which can only lead to doom.

I also kinda wanna read way too much DCMK cliché fic. Or possibly write it. Particularly genre-transcending clichés, like wing!fic, bar-stakeout!fic, AMTDI (or fandom equivalent), etc. I should just find a list of clichés and work my way through it, one character at a time. Though fandom-specific clichés would be fun, too; Alternate Apotoxin stories come to mind - and wouldn't that be a fun fandom challenge? Just start with Shin'ichi's little mess at the beginning, and a) switch out/add characters, or b) switch out effects. Fun for everyone! I mean, I've seen some like that, but I kinda wanna see a huge outpouring of them, yanno? Which reminds me, I still gotta write that one meme response...

Also, is it just me and my not-really-paying-enough-attention-to-DCMK-fandom-ness, or are there just not enough fics where Haibara and/or Agasa come up with really incredibly strange inventions that do unpredictable things, like send characters to an alternate dimension or something? I mean, they can't think about the apotoxin 24/7; they've gotta have side projects to keep their minds busy.

Just random thoughts. I guess my heart hasn't quite left the fandom after all ^.^a

Aaaaa, Pretty Cure. I saw the first few eps, and ~want~ to see more, but they stopped showing it at the anime club even before that went defunct, and I dunno where to get ahold of it(can't download, couldn't spare the money to buy *sad* ). But yes, it is made of shiny and love |D

By amazing coincidence, you can watch Pretty Cure from the US via that first site I linked up there! Not that streaming is my favorite method of watching anything, but. Pretty Cure! Also, I'm keeping an eye open on Tokyo Toshokan for torrents and stuff, so if I see a good one, I could probably play the download/upload game :3b

I watched a little Pretty Cure back in the day--I think I got to the episode you're talking about, too, but it's been a while. That series was definitely Hella cute though, and sogay |D

Though I have read fic where Ai and Conan where sent to a world where Sherlock Holmes existed. :D Only it wasn't Agasa's invention that did it, but some random OC (whom I fangirl because he's such a meany). Pity it never finished...
