soc_puppet | Yet another reason Why I Love My Brother (Reply)

So, I've been watching the Naruto dub, because it's actually half-decent and because there's probably no way I'm going to get it fansubbed as I am allergic to Bittorent and a couple of other reasons that I could list but won't. Anyway, it's the Wave Country arc, which I love like a mad loving thing, so Tomas (my little brother) has had to put up with me fangirling Haku and Zabuza (mostly Haku, and being very happy that they didn't make him a girl in the dub, yay!). So today was the episode where Naruto and Sasuke finish their tree-climbing training, and where Haku meets Naruto outside the battlefield. And I'm very (vocally) excited because "this episode has lots of subtext for a pairing I really like :D" Tomas, both proving that he has not been paying very close attention to me and making me crack up, says, "Who? Sasuke and Haku?" I promptly burst out laughing and explain that no, that wasn't the pairing I was thinking of, and that it probably wouldn't be very possible anyway (while attempting to skirt spoilers).

I want to see that pairing written now, though. It would probably take massive AU or AT or something, but I want to see it done for the sake of the crack and the pretty. Someday. Somehow.
