Another Day...
Aug. 26th, 2004 08:56 pm...Another warped idea trying to bludgeon its way into being written. Somewhere. Somehow.
Note to self: look up more stuff on Gilgamesh sometime, because your World Lit textbook has cut quite a bit of the epic out. Also, it might help you to find out more about Arthurian Legend (the pre-Christian stuff), especially if you want to do that one thing ever. But good job looking up that Alaric thing.
Ficcing is not going as well as I would like it to at the moment. Just got the latest installment of Communications back from my beta reader and she has a ton of great suggestions that I want to see about working in or not. The tape recorder thing is out, more's the pity (stupid canon! >_<), but at least half of the other ideas seem workable. Unfortunately, I can't seem to work on it, what with one thing and another. Like school having started this week. And my parents wanting to watch this Baron Munchausen film with me (which, while being very interesting and amusing and cool and stuff, ate up about an hour and a half of otherwise free time).
Sleep now. Because I am not that desperate to get this done that I will give it up. Besides, if it turned out bad because I'm low on sleep, I'd never forgive myself for it later.
