*crack, crack, crack*
Oct. 24th, 2004 05:08 pmFor the past few hours, I have been shelling Hickory nuts.
I have not done this in several years, and had forgotten everything about it save little flying shards of nutshell. Turns out, they're really hard to crack. Notoriously so. And I had forgotten how to crack them in the several years since I had done so. By now, though, I have not only remembered the knack to it and cracked many many nuts, but my hands smell really really nice. I mean _really_ nice. As in, I-wish-I-knew-if-there-was-a-hickory-scented-hand-lotion-so-I-could-get-my-hands-to-smell-like-this-more-often nice. On that note, does anyone know if there actually _is_ a hickory nut scented hand lotion or not? Or hickory scented body lotion? Or something like that? Because I really like this smell and wouldn't mind having it stick around for a long period of time.
