Okay, WTF.
Mar. 15th, 2006 07:58 pmThere is only one thing that I want to know, and it is this: what the fork happened to my LJ. I did nothing to customize it. I didn't even care! (Well, okay, I did ponder it from time to time.) I wanted to keep it nice and simple for the people who read it and lurked here, especially the dialup users, as I know/knew their pain all too well. It's ultimately the reason I didn't go in for a custom mood theme, or even one of the non-custom ones (and Lord knows a few of them are tempting): they all took an incredibly long time to load back before I had cable. Even these days they can make my nice cable connection trip.
So wasn't I surprised when I came home at last and checked my LJ, only to find my friends page in a nice S2 style (is it S2 even? I never cared to check more than once), rather than the simple default style I was more accustomed to.
LJ, I love the new userpic spaces you've given me; I'd been getting close to running out. However, I would like very much to know what the fork happened to my nice layout.
Thankfully it left the actual entries untouched, but it still confuses the heck out of me. I would've at least liked a little warning or explanation.
Perhaps I should ask. Or at least check my recent entries and userinfo more carefully, Just In Case.
Edit: Thanks to Linn for clarification ;) Changed it back to the old default style. Still, it got me to thinking that maybe I really should change my journal layout around a bit. Something to consider...Or maybe I should just be lazy and put up a poll about it. I would call it: The Poll That No One Cares About! Or something.
