CFUD moping
Aug. 10th, 2006 02:25 pmYeah, so, limited internet access means I'm mostly going to be spending my time copy/pasting stories or downloading things to read later. Which means that my following of CFUD will probably be minimal at best ;_; It might get a little better after school starts, but even then there's no promise. And for a long time I've had trouble keeping up with some of the awesome CFUD storylines--that whole Yumichika-Ikakku-Rey thing completely blindsided me. I'm still confused by most of what's going on.
I'd love for there to be a community in which we can keep track of these thingsso people who go on vacation and stuff don't have to dig through the archives to catch up ...Okay, I admit it, it's totally selfish and so I don't fall too far behind. I'd be tempted to just drop CFUD for a while, but I like it too much there, and I like the people too much there, and besides that, I have a potential con to help plan. (I should get around to heckling Key-mun and Fiyero-mun about that, actually.) I don't want to lose track of things too much.
cfud_daily would be awesome for this, if more than four people kept up with it (plus it seems to be players-only?), and we have
snogwatch, but that's not quite the same. I want something that'll keep track of the CFUD soaps. Possibly with "The story so far..." posts, so I can catch up on things I know nothing about. It would be great if Audience could join in on this, since I know for a fact that everyone watches different things and it would take some of the strain off of players. Unfortunately, I don't have the guts to either start my own community, or to prod the players into updating other things more regularly/thoroughly. Besides, for all I know,
cfud_concrit does a better job of that stuff anyway.
...Also, chances are that I got all those community names wrong. I shall have to check when I make my rounds.
Anyway, that was a totally pointless post of CFUD-fan weeping. I'll do something more "on topic" later.I want my internet back!!
