Half-hearted grumping
Aug. 13th, 2006 02:42 pmAttn: people who are uploading music right now? I hate the lot of you. I'm probably never going to see half of those songs again, and I can't even join in the fun because I don't have the 'net at home. ...Not that this would normally stop me, but I've no notion how long it would take to upload a mere 5 MB on the library connection, and I'm more intent on using it to copy/paste fics anyway.
End grumping.
Will probably be breaking down and making a "What's the story so far?" post on CFO within the next few days. Will also probably do the innitial typing at home, since it seems to take me forever to get things how I want them to sound, and (again) don't want to use up my valuable 'net time doing that. Plus, it would amuse me at home (if I copy-pasted the lot of it) and I would know more stuff and stuff.
Also, life goes a lot slower when I can't actively follow CFUD, even if I do have some internet connection. I'm mostly using it to grab things that'll keep me (relatively) sane, and am not using it to follow my favorite crack RP at all ;_;
...Also also, gonna hafta contact Key-mun and 'Yero-mun shortly, talk CFUD con details. Going to suggest we rent out a seperate place if we don't get enough people interested, 'cuz it might be cheaper. Or maybe just one large-ish room in the hotel, so people don't get too lost looking for somewhere unconnected. Not sure about a lot of stuff. Gonna hafta think things through.
