WIP fic meme

If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or what have you, post exactly one sentence (or more) from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favorite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre)if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

As for things like Small Things and East Wind, well, all I have is kinda already typed and posted. Though I guess I could post a few sentences as an unlocked preview for the rest of the population. Or mention vague ideas I have for 'em if people ask or something.
My original stuff is mostly planned for comics, so not a lot of it is actually written out, but I could babble near endlessly about it if people are interested.
Anyway, passing the torch now. Look for the Gay Bar fic on the next Lurker Day (Sept. 2nd), and hopefully the next chapter of Communications around then as well. No promises on anything else.
