soc_puppet: Words "Mad Fangirl" in blue (Mad Fangirl)
Finally took my French test today. Hooray for me! ...I'll probably get a C at best. If I get higher, it'll be some sort of miracle. Also, am not terribly good at coming up with people on the fly, so when I got to the section where I had to make up a person to have a conversation with, I just kinda used Jodie-sensei from DC 8D;;

Stil haven't rescheduled my blood appt., but am planning to do so when I get home from the library.

Also, I am dead so many ways, as I need to do fifty-eight figure drawings by 3:00 pm on Thursday: eighteen of hands, twenty of heads, twenty of full bodies. (I've already done two of hands.) I was really supposed to have started two or three weeks ago, but I'm terrible at homework, and the teacher continually telling me that I don't need any help with the subject in class isn't motivating me much -_-a 'Specially since drawing ducks doesn't count for it. (I think drawing ducks would be really, really fun, and I should go do that sometime, really. Nice simple body shape, interesting body language, fun! Still want it to count for my assignment.)

Have been watching all the episodes of Avatar: the Last Airbender I have on DVD the past week or so, so I'm all caught up and prepared for the new episodes on Friday. And also for the final DVD of the first season's release on Tuesday of next week. (Season fanale, here I come! Yuueeee, come back to me, dahlink! ;_; I wanna watch you and Sokka be mushy at each other again!) My failure is revealed in how many episodes I needed to see the entirety of--or at all--of the first season ¦D Faaaar too many. I blame my CFUD addiction. And also being stupid and oblivious to just how awesome this show is when I was first introduced to it. *feels lame* Once again, I had cause to wonder (in the third episode) just why the Avatar statues (at the Southern Air Temple) are arranged in a spiral. It worries me, if only for the possibility that there might only be room left for Aang there. The only other thing I can think of is that all the statues move/are moved back a pace when the current Avatar dies or something.

Also watched the first episode in French, in an attempt to get more used to hearing the language. ...Really not sure how well it's working yet :D;; Also, I was entirely unable to tell whether it was just dubbed into French or if Nickelodeon had actually reanimated the lip movements when watching. To my untrained eye, it frequently looked like the latter, but it had been a few days since I'd watched the first episode in English, and I'm not a proficient speaker besides. Can anyone out there inform me one way or the other? (On that note, I was rather annoyed by the lack of subtitles in any language. I know it would have helped if I could've read the French while I was listening to it. Plus, nothing else was dubbed over in French--not that things like the English voice actor interviews would've really needed it, but it seemed slightly half-done. I dunno, maybe I'm just being picky.)

Worked out a bit of an issue for the next chapter of Communications and how to approach the Ai issue; am feeling much better about it. Though now, of course, I just have to decide what to do with her, once I get her into place.

On a fandom-related note, anyone who complains about the quality of the English Naruto dub should take a look at this and be grateful. A few of the voices grate on my nerves (mostly Hinata's, actually, though Naruto's could use a little more energy ^^a), but it's really a decent dub.

Oh, and re-pimping the Stalker Friending Meme here, just so everyone gets a shot at it. And also because I heartily approve of it.

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention: major love to all you people doing memorial posts and stuff T^Tb Y'all are awesome.
