Ah, the joys of spending one's weekend with friends ♥ We simply must do it again. Even if my wallet ends up hating me for it.
Got up really early (read: nine-thirty in the morning 9_9a) today to sing at a church in a city half an hour away. We were quite well recieved, and went out for lunch afterwards at this place called the Blue Strawberry. We may be singing there at some point in the future, though exactly when is, I believe, still undetermined.
I also bring this up because we're supposed to (at least try) and bring in about four addresses of friends and family members to practice tonight, so we can mail you a flyerand a slip that tells you you can still donate money even if you don't listen to us sing ♥♥♥? I don't know if any of you is actually interested, but you definitely don't have to go, and you'll get a copy of the flyer I made if you are. *will screen comments if she does get addresses volunteered* I mean, I doubt anyone is, but I thought I'd ask. (Which reminds me, I need to get those sent off...)
So, how 'bout that LJ outage yesterday? It happened right in the middle of my prime Saturday internet time, so I was understandably peeved, but mini golfing with friends helped clear that up considerably. Also, pie.
On a related note, I'm probably going to the next Anime Central :D;;; Still need to think about transportation and such. Anyone else planning to go? And Candy? You out there? Got a potential proposition for you.
Oh yeah, and my lame Tentacular Hallowe'en thing has been posted to
takoyaoi_love. It's late, so it won't be eligible for the contest, but I'm still glad it's up.
To close, I'd like to wish everyone a happy Guy Fawkes day, and admit that another hour and a half of internet time will not be nearly long enough today. Here's to extra time at Kirkwood tomorrow!
Edit: Dear LJ,
You're the one telling me I should be running on something like GMT +/- 0, so don't you complain when I try and change my journal time to what it is here!
Sincerely,
Me
