Some minor de-pressurization
Nov. 20th, 2006 08:32 pmGave in and called it sick yesterday. Which basically amounted to me staying home from church and also not going to the internet in the afternoon as pennance or whatever, though I did end up stuffing envelopes for Quire, and then singing. And also making sweatshirts for Dad/a new CFUD t-shirt for me. (Or rather, re-making the CFUD shirt for me, as the first time I tried it, it burnt horribly ;_; ) As a result, I waded through about 80 entries today, and geek out over finally having a birthday twin 8D
Also had a bit of a talk with my mom this weekend, which I didn't mention on Saturday as I was distracted by being sick and collecting addresses/signing up to get cards and stuff. Anyway, we're going to push "get a job" up on my priorities list, and I am no longer obligated to take a full schedule of classes in order to get free insurance. I love you, Mom T^Tb
On another Socchan-feel-good note, Mom took me to the petstore today, where we checked out rat related goods, and also one of the rats. She was so cute, omg. So adorable ♥ I really really have to clean my room, now.
On less of a Socchan-feel-good note, I have to take that French test tomorrow. Or Else. I really can put it off no longer. And I hope my art teacher doesn't yell at me for only having crappy thumbnail sketches, but I haven't cut my paper yet, so. (Also, aargh! I'mma hafta walk home with my art supplies (again!) tomorrow T_T)
Ten days left in November, and I don't know how to respond to the fact that I haven't even really touched the stuff I thought I was going to work on. Though I did think lots about Communications. And I am going to get some done for that this month, again with Or Else tacked on the end, so.
Edit: Oh yeah, forgot that I was going to put this up somewhere.
Quote from some guy in my Children's Lit class: "Democracy takes more than four minutes!" It was in regards to choosing movies to watch. (We decided on Mulan, The Princess Bride, and Holes. Win all around ♥)
