RIP, Hamilton

On Friday morning, when Mom went to feed him, Hamilton attacked her. This was not entirely unusual, since he was in his (mating) season, which makes him more aggressive. Mom had an old coat hood that she would pull over his face to fend him off/keep him from biting her, but he ended up biting her through the hood hard enough to draw blood. Since he was attacking Mom every time she tried to feed him/change his water, and since he was too aggressive/wild for her to think about giving him to someone else, Mom made the decision to have him put down. The vet agreed that it was the best choice.

So, here's to you Hamilton, wherever you are now. We did the best we could by you, but you were too much of a wild animal. I hope you have a nice sunny branch and lots of squash to eat, wherever you are now.

So, yeah. I have four cards now! From different people! Yaaaay!

Candy, I got yours yesterday, and Jeva, yours came today. I danced around the room upon getting these, guys. Those were my two most recent, and were awesome, and made me feel great and happy and stuff ♥♥♥ You guys rock. Srsly. (The other two were from Buffy-mun and then Xander-mun at CFUD. Fast they were o.O)

Waiting patiently at the moment for the first "I got your card, Socchan :DDD" notice to go up, though it's not manditory or anything, so I guess I shouldn't be holding my breath ^^a Still, it's nice to hear reactions 'n stuff. So, uh. Talk if you want?

Also, since I don't know how soon I'll be able to get to a computer after today (the 26th at best, probably), I'll be posting the card image for those who couldn't get one in the mail now.

Posting a couple of Karin screencaps while I'm at it, to show people what I meant by that comment the other day. This is the character that showed up at the very end of episode six (did I get the number wrong in the post where I talked about it? I think I might've), and this is what his face looks like. My first thought: WTF, Wolfram, what are you doing in a vampire anime? As a hunter, no less! My second thought: Where'd you get the pimp hat? It looks ready-made for a CFUD virus. Asked the friend I got it from, and apparently the W on his chest is for his family name: Winner, which had me cracking up for about two minutes, and is threatening to make me do it again in the library.

Oh, anyone have an opinion about timing of posting psuedo-Christmas fics? 'Cuz yeah, Holiday Spirits is biting hard, and it's a DC/MK-Christmas Carol crossover/fusion on crack. (I should also probably start getting ready for fic_off, shouldn't I?)
