Ah, leisurely updating time. Well, as long as you call 40 minutes leisurely. Which, considering how long it's taken me to write some of my posts, I probably shouldn't ^^a But whatever!
Went out to Rochester Cemetary today to check out the wildflowers. Not as many in bloom as we'd hoped - the peak time'll probably be in a few weeks or so - but still very pretty, and we did beat the Memorial Day crowds. Had lunch at The Cove afterwards, but apparently no one had room for pie, so we had to pack it up -_-a Still had a good time. Got to try out my new bag - the transfer went on fairly well, BTW, and it looks great ^_^v The edges are threatening to come up a little, but it's really not too bad, and I think I might be able to come up with something to fix that. Long story short, they'll probably be added as options to the shirt post for maybe $4.00 each before shipping? I think that'd be about right.
Anime Central's in about two weeks, so I should start getting ready for that. Which means working on finally getting my Katara costume 'perfect', for one thing, and getting around to designing that shirt for another. I am sooooo getting autographs and stuff. So am. And also definitely finalize travel plans (a tentative thought on one of which involves Candy getting the day off on the eleventh, but it's probably too late for that on several accounts; more likely I'll end up getting a ride in with Chris). Going to have to scrape together as much money as I can before I get there, too - not that it'll be much - and hope someone posts about the con again on CFO so we can make more concrete plans. And possibly so I can hock shirts and/or bags as well.
Concert next Friday, and still need to register for fall classes, but other than that things seem to be going okay. It'll be a busy few weeks, but I can live with that. (People are welcome to come to the concert if you want! I can get you in free, even, and I promise we sound good! Anyone, anyone? ...Yeah, I thought not. Ah, well.)
