Two questions (and a riddle)

Okay, so, there's probably some sort of karmic law or something that dictates this, but really, I just want to know:

1) Why does everything massively important have to happen while I'm getting teeth removed, and
2) What do I do to fix this so it doesn't happen any more?

Srsly, dropping notices all over, character reapps, and *mumble mumble mumble*. Also, emo and excitement in roller coaster levels. SOMEONE EXPLAIN IT TO ME.

Dude, when did Danny Phantom become the most (proportionately) wank-happy fandom in existence, and where was I when this started?

Srsly, I haven't had this much desire to tempt fate and/or play Devil's Advocate since I sat down to write that Avatar/Seuss crossover.

It's not like I can look to my namesake for wisdom in this case either. I mean, come on, he compared himself to a gadfly, whose purpose it was to irritate the lazy horse of Athens into wakefulness (or somesuch). At his trial, he basically called himself the gods' gift to his city-state. If I treat him as a role model here, I may as well be brewing my own hemlock.

Someone be the voice of reason for me and tell me there's a better way than to create a throwaway DA account and just start posting non-mainstream-style DP art left and right on it, while being (as a whole) non-vocal with the whole thing. Someone convince me it's a bad idea.

Because right now, it just looks like fun.

Edit: Here, have some context. Apparently, the only reason that the small subsection of my f'list that watches both DP and follows DC/MK is free of wank is because we are COMPLETELY ISOLATED from it. I don't get it either?
