Yet another TwitFace entry

So, according to the latest news post (which actually reads like news, for once) and what I've gleaned from the comments so far (which is not very far at all just yet - I'm still on the first few threads of the first page here), this is what's going on with TwitFace:
1) Cross-posting of comments to locked posts (and possibly screened comments?) is disabled
2) UNLESS you've A) opted into Cyrillic services, AND B) connected your Facebook account to your LJ
Alternately worded:
1) Cross-posting of comments to a locked post (and possibly screened comments?) are still enabled
2) But only to those who have A) opted into Cyrillic services, AND B) connected their Facebook account to their LJ
There was a staffer who responded honestly (as best as I can tell) to the concerns of the above, and regarding the staffers who were harassing users, here.
For the record, and straight from the staffer's mouth (in short form): Yes, users of Cyrillic services can still cross-post their comments to your locked posts. Information on a potential work-around via screening comments can be found here. The news post says that Cyrillic services users will be able to cross-post screened comments, which directly contradicts the possible work-around, so I have no idea whether it's any good or not.
The post also states that the bugs have been fixed with Pingbacks, but is again unspecific with regards to whether they still allow Pingbacks of locked posts.
