You know, this is the second time I've decided in advance to go out and pick up a specific job application and then it started snowing. I was going to do it anyway last time, but then the roads were worse than I thought, so I just did the one errand and blew the rest off instead; still haven't decided about today.
I tried to warn the various flowers that have been poking their little green sprouts up through the earth that it's still February, for the love of Gaia, and in Iowa besides, it's not nearly spring yet, but they obviously didn't listen. Now we're going to have tulips with frostbitten leaves again, sigh.

hooked_on_anime_gallery, though I've got a little ways to go yet before I'm caught up with now. I've also got something like ten comments to reply to, s-sigh. Patchwork Dragon is almost done, which means I'll be able to start putting the professional for-sale pattern together shortly. The laptop on which I had done most of my crochet-related typing and such died a terrible death about a week and a half ago, and my two attempts at revival thus far have met with failure. Something about some sort of GRUB failure, though damned if I have the attention span to actually look up what that means. I'm glad I was already planning to reinstall the OS before it bit the dust, else I would have lost some of the patterns I've already typed up. I mean, I still have the hard copies, but still; not a fun option.
Aside from Patchwork Dragon, I've got a charity project to finish (something relatively small, though the coloration is a bit more complicated than usual) and I've started work on Sephiroth-pony for that friend of mine who's commissioning the whole FFVII pony set. After that, I'll probably alternate between a patchwork-ish griffin for pattern making and a half-pony, half-monkey monster; I'll want to have the latter finished by March 3rd for my solo, and also probably the silent auction. Still need to talk to someone about accompaniment and/or see if I can't find a karaoke version of Skullcrusher Mountain.
Oh yeah, my family has two vehicles again, woo-hoo! I can drive myself place independently now, yay! I'm back at sitting in on Sunday gaming sessions, where before I'd limited myself to Saturday sessions, since they didn't interfere as much with other scheduled things.
And I think that's it from me, update-wise. Visits to craft stores and to pick up a job app may or may not be in my immediate future; we'll see how this afternoon goes.
