Productivity Report
Sep. 3rd, 2012 04:34 pmSpent some time at the pro-Union Labor Day Picnic today; had a great time, showed off my tiger griffin, handed out some cards, you know the drill. Because of aforementioned card-handing-out, I decided it was time to productivize myself and get more stuff listed at my Etsy shop/renew the seal-point griffin listing. I got three more items listed, I'm hoping to get another one or two items up soon.
I've also made some progress typing up the griffin pattern, but not as much as I'd like. I'd left my laptop off for a little too long, so yesterday it wanted to do the Update Dance while I wanted to do the Typing Thing; it was not very conducive to a quick loading process, which would've been quite helpful for slotting helpful pictures into the right spots and such. Later today, maybe.
My brother's getting Act 2 of Plus Sleuth started up, and Clubs Deuce will be appearing :3b I just finished him last night, and he turned out pretty well. His arms were a bit of a conundrum for me since I was going "glorified stick figure" style and they're canonically actual meat sticks instead of just sticks, but I managed to find something that worked. I've still got one more character to finish for PSA2 for certain and picked up the right color of yarn today, and will be getting to work on her soon. (...Crud, I just remembered I didn't take archival pictures of CD. I guess I'll just have to borrow him to take care of that.)
Finally, I've been making slow but steady progress on one of my Homestuck fics. I've got the (very) rough draft of the prologue and the first two scenes finished and am eager to get started on the third scene, wherein it is revealed that Karkat can be quite sneaky when he wants to be. The RoseMary story I'm working on also just needs a bit of a nudge and I can be done with the second part, though I haven't decided whether I'll be re-posting it or continuing from the old thread.
All that productivity will have to wait for a little while longer, though; right now I want a nap.
