Ack, Mom's birthday is on Saturday! I have six more days to figure out which DVDs to give her for her birthday, and which to giver her for Christmas...

On a related note, Grandma M will be flying in from Texas on Tuesday; she'll be here to celebrate Thanksgiving and also meet Nibling. While she's in town, and since my mom's birthday and mine are so close, we'll kinda be turning the weekend into some sort of trio birthday celebration for us. (Grandma's birthday is in April, but since we'll all be together now and the likelihood of that happening in April is much less, "now" seems like a reasonable compromise.) It does mean I need to think of a birthday present for Grandma quick, though, in addition to the DVDs-for-Mom decision...
