It's fuckin Wimdy

We're getting fuckoff-big winds tomorrow; not as bad as some areas of the country, but 25-30mph was on the low end, with gusts of up to 60mph/96kmph was the last I saw. I plan to drive in to work the roundabout way rather than taking the interstate, on account of being able to drive slower this way. And also worrying less about the major construction site at the major interchange.

And also, may I just say, the fact that we are experiencing a fifty degree (Fahrenheit) difference in temperature between tomorrow's projected high and the projected overnight low of only a week ago is a major contributor here. Climate change deniers can go lick an ice cube tray. I don't care if this is Iowa, we shouldn't be hitting 70°F/21° at all this far north of the equator in December!

I swear, if we get a second Derecho in as many years, I will go (briefly) feral.
