Hmm

It's only been a few days, but ever since I changed a bunch of my fic titles as part of the end-otw-racism call to action, my kudos have completely dried up. I'm currently choosing to believe that this is a reflection on the importance of titles for drawing people in, but I also only changed the title of one fic that was co-authored by anyone. One of the ones I didn't change is The Soulmate Liar AU, and I've been getting at least one kudo for it almost every day since it was first posted to AO3.

Again, it's only been a few days, so there's really not enough data yet, but this is still an... interesting development.

And naturally, the first comment on my End OTW Racism fic is a flame. Can't decide between freezing it, replying to point out that this is the least of what some people have to deal with and freezing it, and just plain deleting it.

I think I may go with the final, while also turning off guest comments. Seems like the best option here. Shoulda turned guest comments off to start with, but nooooo, I was optimistic...

Edit: First comment is deleted, and second comment is blatant derailing. So it goes, I suppose.

Edit 2: I have now deleted the thread started by the second comment, as well as one more comment by that person, and blocked them on top of that, since they decided to respond to me freezing that thread by. Starting a new thread. And honestly, I just feel better with their bullshit gone. Better for my mental health.
