mistressoffoxes, your surprise (from way back in December/January ^^a) is finished!
...Wow, that's teeny-tiny. You can barely make out the three figures in the middle D: (Ahaha, my OT3 snuck in ^^; Sorry? I tried to distract it with other characters, but it didn't work that well.) I had no idea Photobucket would shrink it that much. Maybe I can mail you a better copy?
Alternately, possibly someone out there could help me figure out my blasted LJ image gallery. Pleeeaaase? *sprakley eyes*
Anyway, that would be the Kingdom Hearts music box. Wanted to work with the concept of the key blade being the usual key size and opening something like a box or a chestbut not going so far as to crossover with the Indian in the Cupboard universe. Original idea was to put it in a fic, have it act like Pandora's box or somesuch. I never really got around to writing it; no real ideas for it, I suppose. Just the opening of the cupboard or whatever and the Heartless being unleashed, and then this nice little open ending that I'm fine with but other people might object to D:
Wanted to have Donald and Goofy as part of the turney thing in the middle in addition to Riku, Sora and Kairi, but I couldn't figure out a way to get the top to balance that way. It was easier to draw this way, too, but I don't know that I like it this simple. There really should be something or someone on the other side of them, but I can't figure out what. *sigh* Someday I just know I'll figure out the perfect idea. Sadly, that day is not today.
On a semi-related note, am I the only one who wants a KH shadow plushie to squeeze and hug and cuddle and call my own? I'm not even sure they exist and I want one. They would be so cute!
Anyway, I said 'announcement,' didn't I? Well, here it is:
I finally heard that Crawling in my Skin thing today :D
...That so deserves its own announcement. Really.
Okay, you know how I kinda went nuts laughing over how the original Bad Moon Rising sounded after hearing the Rasputina version for so long? I kinda did the same thing over this. I can't help it! I expected it to be so much more... droning, I guess. I dunno.And I didn't expect to like it, either. WTF, brain. I am not an emo kid! So it turned out hilarious to me. Which was bad, because I was getting a ride home from a friend at the time and didn't want to distract him from the road. And then there's that whole "how the hell do I explain this?" aspect of it. Even I'm not completely certain why I find it so funny, though I'm sure it has a lot to do with CFUD.
Yeah, so, that's it for now. I'm thinking I should try homework next, followed closely by sleep. (youji_yola, your pic is next in line for drawing! Unless I get distracted (again). *knocks on wood* Though so far I seem to be shifting to my 'default' drawing from behind pose for it =_= You know, slight angle to the left, profile shot of head, left leg sorta bent at the knee. I need to break away from that, start drawing things better. Problem is, it's hard to draw Naruto wearing black lacy lingerie and still make him look manly D: I'll figure out a way eventually, I suppose.)

XD Really? I find it really easy to write Riku for some reason. And Kairi's a girl; there's not a lot of harm in writing her like one. Well, I don't think so at least.

I'm allowed to use the scanner, but spend most of today drawing another Heartless, painting pearls, watching movies and having Roy over, so it will probably be scanned tomorrow.
But Kairi is not a "Rainbows and Gumdrops" kind of girl
which is the directing she is currently heading in GoW WTF?, and that is obvious, even from the small tidbits of her character we get to see in the game. She has a much more realistic view of the world(s), and in chapter 3 she suffering from memories of a dream-that-is-not-really-a-dream and being very confusedI'm actually feeling sorry for all of the things I'm putting her through, so she's not even gonna be her usual self *tearing hair out*... I really need to talk with someone about her characterization in GoW ;.;no subject
