Art: Magical Girl Icka stuff! Gasp!

soc_puppetAccidentally arrived an hour early for class today -_-a As a result, ended up spending most of the time in the cafeteria with Jason H. and talking about various things. Conversation eventually turned to Magical Girl Icka and, well...
This was basically a quick sketch to let Jason know what MGI looked like. Threw in the floating cuttlefish because it needed to be there. Still need to give it things like a name and a personality. I know it's going to have a sense of humor, but not much more than that.
After explaining the basics of MGI to Jason, I complained that I still didn't have a character or costume design for the Masked Kiwi. I knew that the classic tuxedo option was out, since it's overdone, and that it couldn't be too silly, because MGI is a parody but it's not that much of a parody, and I couldn't come up with anything. And then Jason said that since the classic tuxedo thing was out, why not the classic sweatervest combo?
Socchan: ...That's perfect!
Jason: I didn't expect you to actually like it.
Also featured is the Masked Kiwi's noble steed, also a Kiwi but currently lacking in a name. He/She/It will probably be summonable and is about the size of a horse.
Anyway, the Masked Kiwi's features aren't very distinct because I have nothing to work off of for them. The second I do, though, he's getting a face. (Glasses, if they exist, will be worn over the mask. Just so you know.)
Still working on the ferret-themed villainess' costume, though I seem to have narrowed the options down a bit. Still also need to work on minor characters, evil minions, etc also.

Is an extint NZ bird that was HUGE. Would think large enough to ride on. See the pic of the skeleton.
