Guess wha~t? :DDD

• The air conditioning (which had not been working at the beginning of this hellishly hot spring (temp in the 90's F / 30's C, just try and tell me that's not hellish)) is now fixed, as of about an hour ago ♥
• Went to a job finding place today; the person there said he would be surprised if I wasn't employed by Thursday ♥♥
• As a result of this (and the fact that much of the related stuff is on a web site), Mom has decided not to cut off my internet connection just yet ♥♥♥

Also, the bees in the back yard have been very busy (their hive is up to five tiers now :DD) and the fruit trees are working overtime to make up for last year. We shall have peaches and pears and apples (and cherries) yet! Enough apples, in fact, to take them somewhere to have cider made. And to make jelly. And pies. And lots of other appley stuff.

I am indeed a happy not-camper ^_______^

...Except for the fact that Riddle and Envy are finally being dropped from CFUD. That makes me sad. But I did kinda see it coming, and everything can still be Riddle's fault, so. I think the good might outweigh the bad?

Smut later today/tonight/really early tomorrow or I eat my hat. And I like my hat. Even if I haven't worn it in years and years.

Edit: Okay, looks like I'm eating my hat. Because I am dead on my feet and actually going to bed four hours earlier than usual. Yes, I suck. But I do have ideas for all of them, yays! Except the first one. Because I have ideas for it, but I keep on feeling like I'll be raping canon with them. *is slightly emo over it*

*skips the first three things and gets right to cosplay* According to recent data (i.e., measuring him on our dubious height chart), he's about 5'10". As for length and texture/messiness/whatever, think Harry Potter with an inch or two lopped off. So, not long enough for Ishida ^^; And it's light brown, but he says he'd be willing to dye it. Oh, and his eyes are blue.

I'm... technically still deciding ^^; I'm really really tempted to go as Shika for one day, because I then have slightly more pull in forcing Pat to cosplay Ino, but that means one less day cosplaying CFUD Audience. So, still deciding. And I should probably lose a little weight myself, though not too much :D;;; Weight is generally one of the things that's forgiven in cosplay.

Hmmm. I have no clue. ^^; Although it does kinda scream Kyouya if his hair is dyed black, even though Kyouya's eyes are brownish, I believe.

I was going to go as Kid!Iruka to the last con I went to. Buuut I didn't have enough time to put it together. CFUD Audience would probably be one of my choices. XD I'm not so sure about that. One thing I don't like about cosplay is when seriously overweight people try to dress as skinny characters. >>;

Yeah, see, neither do I :< Says he: "I wouldn't mind being Sephiroth. *hopeful puppy eyes*" Says I to him in reply: "...You have no idea how long it would take to make a good costume for that, do you?" And Kyouya we might be able to get away with if his hair was, yanno, brushed maybe. But it's hard to recognize for most people D: And he wouldn't know who it is DD: And I'm pretty sure he wants to spend most of the con abusing the gaming systems anyway.

CFUD Audience is right up my alley, yo. Because there's no specifications, other than "Be recognizable as tied to CFUD" 8D And I'm planning to make a shirt (or several) anyway, so. Yeah, that actually kinda bugs me, too ^^a But it's not something that can always be changed, so I just kinda try and lead by example? I usually try and cosplay caras I look at least a little like, mostly so I won't have to do as much ^^; Anyway, there really aren't a lot of overweight characters for people to cosplay as, so that's an issue right there.

It would be so obscure. XD Anybody who didn't know what it was would go, "Wtf?" and those who did would be all, "OMG!" That's true. But still. It just kinda bugs me, even though I feel bad for it.

And oh! Talking about cosplay. Did I ever show you the Roxas cosplayer my friend Tawny and I met at MTAC?

OH! Oh oh oh! I should so ask him how he feels about going without glasses :DDD When he's awake, that is. Because HAYNER. Yeah. HE COULD PULL IT OFF, HE SO COULD.

I feel a certain (very high) level of satisfaction whenever I can recognize an obscure character ♥ I get bonus points for being the first female to recognize the card cosplayer from Miyuki-chan in Wonderland at AI last year :DDD I know :/ ...I should write a manga that's half casted by way awesome overweight people, just so more people can accurately cosplay. And to be contrary and stuff.
The other thing they tend to forgive is hair, I think ^^;

If it's not the one at the top of the comments, then I don't think so. Unless it was in the picture post. Then yes.

....Although, I did forgive the Roxas player for not spiking it, but just because he was cute. And had nice arms. ♥

Yeah, it was in the picture post. But I just realized the other day that one of his keyblades is the Bond of Flame. So. I think he might have secretly been a 'shipper. :D

There will so be pictures. Even if I have to blackmail my friends into taking them, because I will have put effort into his costume and it needs to be rewarded.

I always end up with the feeling of "I should know this character," even for characters I have no reason to recognize :/... Someday? I so will. And there will even be logic behind it. ...Maybe. If I can manage it.
I think it's more length than color, usually? But yeah, pink vs. red is getting a tad extreme ^^a

...Okay, talked it over with my brother. He seems fine with going glasses free. And then he wanted to see a picture of Hayner, because he'd forgotten who it was ^^a It was shortly after this that I got the brilliant idea that he should not, in fact, cosplay Hayner. He should cosplay Demyx :DDD And Tomas seemed okay with this idea. The main problem at the moment will be actually making the sitar, but other than that it seems doable :DDD And yes, if we manage to pull it off, there will be pictures galore.

XD I'm not surprised. Roxas has more fanboys than... some other character that's famous for having a lot of fanboys. STFU, it's late.

Any idea when and/or where that's going to be? ....Cuz I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get to go no matter what. After coming home from MTAC, I asked Mom about going to OMGCon, and she said, "You've already been to a convention." ...

At this point, almost certainly in Iowa. Probably even in Iowa City where I live, oh God I'm so dead :D;;;. And sometime in July, I think. I'll be trying to get those details soon, which is why I want to put up a poll.

Hm. So, yeah. Even I were allowed to go to a convention based on a camp with the word 'fuck' in its name, I still wouldn't be able to go because of distance. :(
