Pronoun Trouble

Perhaps it would look bulky, but the "mhefu: mluhfe lhfea lh. mhefd: ljkhfejgh." format makes me think of lists... I find it hard to read in the flow of a paragraph without some spacing to set it aside from following sentances... :cD;;
