Obligatory RL update

soc_puppetThough now that I think about it, I don't really have much to say.
Had a busy day on Friday; went to see my psychologist at 12:45, went to the computer lab, then came back and saw my homework/job coach at 4:15. Went out and bought full sized paper (22" x 30") and a portfolio to hold it, though I still have to get off my lazy duff and draw something on it. Er, the paper, not the portfolio.
Had the Holy Relationships Midwest Conference thing on Thursday, which went well, and then we sang the same songs for the Faith UCC church for the 9:30 Sunday mass, which also went well (and had a call time of 8:45 in the morning, alsdkjfsdlk). (Speaking of call times, I was freaking out the entire last ten minutes of class on Thursday, because the call time for the Holy Relationships Midwest Conference thing was 5:15 and we were supposed to get out at 4:50, but the teacher decided to keep us late. I had never been so happy to get out of that classroom in my life.)
The concert for Faith UCC was to thank them for letting the Quire use their building for a good eleven years or so, and the mass itself was great (even if it did last for an hour and a half, aproximately 50% longer than I'm used to). It was very informal over all, and had a lot of funny moments, and even some touching moments.And also this girl two seats over from me was reading a novel for almost the entire thing, which I partly felt was rude, but mostly was jealous of. I mean, I never got away with reading in church when I was a kid! Not that she looked that much younger than me, if at all, but it's the principle of the matter! My favorite moment was when one of the early speakers announced that, when he'd been asked to speak four weeks ago, he hadn't been told that he'd be preaching to the Quire ;)
Went and had my eyes checked on Saturday. My perscription remained basically the same, so I didn't get new glasses, though both my mom and brother did (Mom because her old pair was run over by something :D;;; and Tomas because he wanted to 'update his look').
My surface mood is generally better at the moment, though I'm still paranoid over the dark stuff lurking underneath it. Still, here's hoping the surface stuff lasts for a while. At least until I get remedicated. Speaking of, I need to reschedule my Friday appointment with my psychologist now... I'd forgotten that the time I'd chosen actually collides head-on with my psychiatrist appointment :D;;
And that's really about it. Oh, except that I also thought a lot about what I'm currently calling That Big Manga I'll Put On Paper Someday, and rearranged a bunch of stuff in it. The result being that I probably won't be able to make one of the jokes I was hoping to when I get to the unicorn bit, but I think the story as a whole is better off for the reorganization. Also, it will be full of subtext, and never actual text. *is evil like that*
Edit: Oh, !@#%@#!!! I forgot to save that thing on my USB thing so I could send it to John today DD: And now the computer lab is almost closed. *fails* I'll have to get up early tomorrow and to it then.
