Tiny request, cartoons, and spam party notice

So, uh, due to recent events (a.k.a., the plunnying of me by Mati), I'm planning a short Hallowe'en special for Tentacular. And while I can technically half-BS common knowledge about the holiday for Darryl to share with Icarus, it'd be easier to make other people sum it up for me. So, anyone willing to help me out with a short history of Hallowe'en as we know it?

In unrelated news, I'll be going to watch cartoons at a family friend's house on Saturday :3 The last time I did that, I came away with a name for my journal and friends page. Who knows what amazing things could happen this time? ...Well, probably not much, but at least I'll be able to see some cool cartoons!

Also, the lovely ran_mouri82 has come up with an equally lovely idea: since so may people are feeling crappy right now for various reasons, she has invited a spam party in her journal with the intent helping people let of steam! If you're feeling down, or even if you're not, go visit and spam for Great Justice to help people feel good - yourself included!

That would be completely okay, yup. *huggle* If you really wanted to have an illustrated aspect to it, you could draw one scene/pic, but straight (uh, so to speak) fic sound great too! :D
