This one is all over my f'list/circle right now.
give me a character and I will tell you my:
+ otp for them.
+ runner-up pairing.
+ honourable mention(s).
+ crack pairing(s).
+ ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't.
And, because I clearly have nothing better to do with my time, I will answer in the form of fic. Yes :Db Now request something, darnit!
Edit: People of Earth! (And possibly any other non-Earth locations that happen to pick up this station.) Apparently I am not only writing slowly, but I may be skipping the last one as well. Depending on stuff. I am writing at least 80% of each response, though.

Date: 2010-01-06 02:43 am (UTC)OTP:
It wasn't particularly surprising to Usagi when the world-saving continued after she'd married Mamoru. After all, she'd never planned to give it up in the first place, and she'd had enough glimpses of her own future to know that it was going to happen anyway. She figured it would probably go on for a while, at least until Crystal Tokyo was established, and even then there would likely be some issues, even prior to the rising of Nemesis.
It never failed to warm her heart, however, every time Mamoru helped her save the day, even if it was just by being there.
(OTPs here are Usagi/Mamoru, and, of course, Usagi/Universe.)
Runner-up:
In the night sky, the planet Venus was the closest "star" to the moon, never straying far. Minako had wondered once if that was the reason Sailor Venus, the senshi, had been chosen as the moon princess' body double, her decoy.
Now, though, she knew it was irrelevant. No matter what reason her previous incarnation had gotten the job, Minako kept it because she knew she couldn't stand anything bad to happen to her princess, the person she loved more than any other.
Honorable mention:
Michiru knew that Haruka loved her deeply and dearly, fathomless as the ocean and wide as the universe. She knew Haruka would always be there for her, no matter what, would perhaps do anything for her.
But she also knew that all the senshi loved Usagi at least a little bit more than they should, herself included, and Haruka perhaps more than the rest of them. She knew that Haruka's love of Usagi would not interfere with her love for Michiru, that the woman would probably love them both to the end of time. Most importantly, she knew that Haruka would probably not let herself have what she wanted, especially without Michiru's express permission.
So when they saw Usagi after she had bid Mamoru a brief goodbye so he could make a research trip, Michiru pushed Haruka in the other woman's direction. "Go," she said to Haruka's questioning look. "It will do you both good."
The love she saw in Haruka's eyes was all the thanks she needed.
(Apparently, I think Haruka is polyamorous. Y-yay?)
Crack pairing:
Usagi sighed dismally into Luna's fur. "Oh, Luna!" she cried. "Mamo-chan's been so distant lately, with work and everything, I really just don't know what to do. I've been so lonely - and what if he's found someone else?"
Sensing her mistress' distress, Luna changed to human form and wrapped her arms around the woman. "Usagi-chan, I know it can be hard to bear sometimes, but always remember: no matter what happens, the other senshi and I will always be here for you. Especially me."
Usagi blinked watery eyes up at her. "Really? You mean it?"
Luna smiled warmly, cupping her cheek. "Of course, Usagi-chan. Never doubt it."
"I never will, Luna, never ever!" Usagi responded fervently. Without another thought, she leaned over and planted a firm kiss on Luna's cheek.
Luna flushed deeply, and her pupils dilated. "Usagi-chan, that was lovely," she said. "Although, next time - maybe with a bit more tongue?"
"Oh, of course!" Usagi responded, and then proceeded to lick pussy.
(I did it all for that last line!)
Everyone else's ship: Usagi/Seiya
(...Yeah okay, it's been forever since I read StarS, and I didn't get it much then anyway, and it's the ship I don't get on top of that, so I think I'll exercise my privilege to not write it :xa Or, you know, write about why I don't see it in fic form. I hope you are not disappointed! :{ )
Now with added HTML!

Date: 2010-01-06 03:02 am (UTC)Roars of laughter for the crack pairing.
I know where people get Usagi/Seiya from. I thought it added spice to the show but I still ship Usagi/Mamoru over it. Seiya always bothered me. I just couldn't warm up to him/her (herm?).

Date: 2010-01-06 03:19 am (UTC)There are probably crackier things I could ship, but that one had the most potential, I thought X3
I feel similarly! I get where it comes from, and more-or-less why it's there, it just. Doesn't particularly appeal to me. (Xe and hir are generally the pronouns I see for someone who you are not sure how to identify.)
