Salutations and other babble

First things first, a great big hello and ♥ to new people! And, uh, tiny heads-up, I gave up talking about CFUD to non-fans for Lent, so I won't be making posts about it until after Easter (unless it's Sunday, though I'll be trying to restrain myself there as well). I do allow myself to talk about it with fans/in fans' journals/in comments to fans, though, so. Just so you know? (I am so giving up emoticons next year instead.) In honor of the occasion, I'm tempted to steal that "tell me something interesting about yourself" meme that's just appeared twice on my (new and improved!) friends list, but I think I'll save that for the end of the post if I do. And one of these days, I should probably dig up that "How do I pronounce your LJ name/what do I call you IRL" meme again, because that was majorly informative.
Most of you have already heard more than enough about the latest Naruto chapter from one place or another, so I'll just skip that for now, unless you feel like squeeing with me or something. Which I am always up for, really.
And now, the obligatory real life tidbit ¦D The power went out at roughly 11:20 last night. Since I had Ford and Arthur out to play, this worried me a little; they can be mean jumpers, and I really didn't want them loose in the dark and the middle of the night. Thankfully, my parents were also up, and lent me a flashlight so I could return the two little fuzzballs to their cage. ...I then spent the next two hours reading Negima! volumes I checked out from the library by that self-same flashlight, as opposed to the comics-on-the-computer I would've been reading otherwise. So I guess my evening wasn't too drastically changed.
The power came back on around 12:15, so I switched to lamplight then. About halfway through volume eleven now, so I guess I'll be attempting to raid the library again this Sunday or something. Or possibly just hunt for scanlations, either way.
Aaaaanyway. Meme? Meme.
Tell me something interesting about yourself! Also, if you feel like it, ask me a question about myself. Is it something you've always wanted to know? Is it something that just struck you now? Is it rhetorical? Whatever it is, I'll do my best to answer - and I promise that not all of the answers will be 42.
Edit: Also, read and/or watch Karin. It's a cute, fun show and stuff.

Let my bragging begin!
Date: 2007-03-23 02:36 am (UTC)As for you... do you eat peanut butter? If yes, chunky or creamy? (It's a question I ask everybody. Whether there are hidden meanings to the answers, I'm not quite sure yet).
Let my counter-bragging commence also?
Date: 2007-03-23 02:39 am (UTC)I do indeed eat peanut butter :3 In general, I eat dark/wheat bread with crunchy and white bread with creamy.

Date: 2007-03-23 03:06 am (UTC)So, what is your favorite type of chocolate? Dark, milk, white? Or maybe you're one of those weird people who hates chocolate? (I really do know one of those)
no subject
Date: 2007-03-23 06:58 pm (UTC)I think I prefer white chocolate over all :3 (I also have one of those friends XD He doesn't like bitter things in general. Every time I have something chocolatey that tastes fantastic, I can't help but think how much he would hate it ♥)

Date: 2007-03-24 07:38 pm (UTC)Tetsuya knows it
isn't the boss's fault
he frowns all the time.
He knows he and the
others will follow the boss
whatever he does.
So when the boss falls
for a boy, Tetsuya does
not worry; instead,
he bides his time. And
when Haruhi is taken by
someone else, he is
there for the boss, to
comfort him and wait for when
the boss is ready.
When the time at last
comes, he pins Kasanoda,
kisses him soundly
and down his body,
and takes him in his mouth;
for a while, the boss
is incoherent;
when he speaks, it is to tell
Tetsuya to stay.
....I prob'ly should've just given up at some point and called it a shortfic instead, shouldn't I? If only haiku weren't so helpful with letting me find the right words...

Date: 2007-03-24 07:43 pm (UTC)If there is anything for them, I haven't found it yet.
XD Why don't you just write them as haiku, then get rid of the spacing? But it's nice as haiku, too, so I don't mind~~~

Date: 2007-03-24 07:45 pm (UTC)Wow, over nine thousand hearts! *shot*Well. That kinda sucks. Needs moar Yakuza loev >:
XD That would be the perfect solution, you know? *should make an LJ post about it* I've half a mind to write a novel like that now.

Date: 2007-03-24 07:50 pm (UTC)My love for you is over nine thousaaaaaaaaand!!!!! *shot as well*
.....I want to see that on a Valentine's Day card. (Minus the shooting.)
Speaking of which! I don't think I ever got yours. :( If I did, my friend has forgotten to give it to me.
Yes, yes it does. :< It's like Kujou/Kadoma, except that Kujou/Kadoma actually has about 4 more fics than this one. (3, now that you wrote one.)
That would be so awesome. Haiku novel! :D

Date: 2007-03-24 07:56 pm (UTC)XDDDThat would be kinda awesome yes. Maybe I should do that for next year.
Alas! DD: I know I sent it out. It even had scribbles all over it >:
XD And I wrote one of those, too! I should mention it in the haiku post.
I'd just take out all the Haiku formatting when publishing it :3 And then one day, some astute reader would notice that hey, this thing is all written in five-seven-five syllable bites! What's up with that? And the media would make a passing mention of it on a slow news day and stuff :3 'Twould be awesome indeed :Db

Date: 2007-03-24 07:59 pm (UTC)Awww. :( I will go mob her as soon as I can to see if she got it.
That would be so great. It would be like one of those hidden secret things, and once it was revealed, everyone would want to read the amazing non-haiku haiku novel and you would become famous and very, very rich.
no subject
Date: 2007-03-24 08:02 pm (UTC)I approve of this plan! *drew little shadow Heartless on the front and some Jet/Zuko stuff on the back and also herself being lame*
XD It would, wouldn't it? And I wouldn't care half as much about the being famous and rich - well, the being famous part, at any rate - as long as I got to appear on the Daily Show.

Date: 2007-03-24 08:10 pm (UTC)Awwww. D:
Hee! That would be fun! And then I could point to all my friends and say, "I KNOW HER. I INSPIRED HER TO WRITE THAT. :DDDD" And they would all pat me on the head and probably institutionalize me.
no subject
Date: 2007-03-24 08:14 pm (UTC)Which is why you need to get it from her, if she has it >:
XD It would! And don't worry, I'd be sure to put the name Lyzz in the acknowledgements section in the back ♥ And also probably a number of other LJ friends, and a mention of CFUD, 'cuz yeah. CFUD.
no subject
Date: 2007-03-24 08:22 pm (UTC)Yaaay! And then CFUD really would take over the world! :D

Date: 2007-03-24 08:33 pm (UTC)Also, I would end up naming pets after pairings and characters and stuff. "These are my pet [______]s, Oscar and Kio! Also, my guppies, Itachi and Neji ♥
They have spawned many children together." And then Camp fans would get a laugh out of it, just like people reading RE:play might get a laugh out of the FMA references :DDbno subject

PS: Icon love. XD
