In which Socchan goes into far too much deail about a dream

I totally dreamed about LJ last night. See, what happened was, I went to check my friends page in my dream? And then almost all the entries were suddenly by one person. And it was a person I didn't recognize/know very well. And they were all tiny little one-sentence posts that didn't make a lot of sense. It was basically like that one person went out of their way to post something about every two minutes or so, and I just kinda sat there (in my dream) and wondered if I should de-friend them, because that was just rediculous. I mean, I do have an open friending policy, because a) if people are interested, damned if I'm going to kick them for it, and b) I don't usually have the guts to friend other people first, so I don't look gift horses in the mouth, but still, it felt kinda like I was going to regret it, you know? And because it was a dream, the obvious solutions - like finally getting around to making filters or something - didn't occur to me.

Yeah. I don't actually expect this to be a problem or anything, since the lot of you are way awesome people, but man, you could sure tell what I was thinking about yesterday, huh?

The dream shifted after that to some thing that involved some falling and rescuing and a stream of some sort that everyone seemed to think was a river, and then to some event that had a bunch of bleachers and rollercoasters for some reason and prize giveaways that I didn't pay much attention to. And then I got a little interested in the prizes, and started digging through them and collecting a few, because wow, those were some vaguely nifty looking anime/game-related things there, until I somehow came across some bizarre-looking Avatar goods. Mostly of the action figure variety. And thus began my quest to find all the Avatar action figures I could out of the prize piles, which somehow turned into a search for a Katara action figure, spurned somehow by the dolls themselves.

Which I guess just goes to show that I should have Mom look over that letter already, and then get the address for where I need to send it from the library info desk, and get it in the mail. Sometimes my brain is good with the subliminal messaging thing.

And I still need to make myself a new 'dreaming/sleeping' icon, because that Akito one is way too angsty for posts like this.

Edit: ...How pathetic is it that I'm really tempted to join that one sponsored comm so I can make LJ bucks to spend on friends and other random people? 'Cuz yeah. I'm pretty damn tempted. *currently staring at the survey screen, wondering if she is at a point where she'll actually fill it out or not*

Edit x 2: Decided to parse out the legal bits and pieces first. Both good practice, and I get to find out the deal here! So far my big hangup is LJ bucks vs. eternal soul to marketing research. NOT A HAPPY CHOICE TO MAKE.

Um...that's an interesting dream. I'm lousy at interpreting, so I couldn't tell you the meaning. But...I promised not to go out of my way to post something every two minutes... :DDD

You know I'm all for you getting that letter sent...I demand action figures of the 5 dangerous ladies of Avatar!!!

XD Thank you. I used to try interpreting my own dreams, but quickly figured out that so much shit is subjective to the dreamer that books couldn't help me much. These days, I'm mostly content to know that a) the mood I wake up in generally has something to do with the mood I have in my dreams, and yes, I can change it, and b), that as far as I'm concerned, dreams are just unrestricted thought processes with extra pictures since I'm not watching anything else.

I am also all for sending the letter :> I just... keep forgetting/putting it off ^^a I'll see if I can at least get proofreading done tonight, if not address-getting. And there are at least another few female characters who would make awesome action figures IMHO. Kyoshi warriors, anyone? And then there's that one bounty hunter lady whose name I forgot, and Kyoshi herself, since they already made Roku, and... *trails off* Yeah. Lotsa cool, kickass female characters to choose from, yo. On a less ass-kicking level, I would pay awesome money just for the sheer hilarity of being able to get an Aunt Woo doll :DDb

Ah, yes, I almost forgot about Avatar Kyoshi - she was awesome! And Suki, of course. They can have a Kyoshi warrior army of action figures. The bounty hunter's name was Jun. She was awesome too. The lack of female characters is a definite oversight IMHO too.

Amen to that! I'd also like a Yue, but as she was largely a political figurehead/non-combatant, I could accept her being a 'girl toy' >:

^^; I've dreamed about LJ lots of times. Lots and lots of times. Far too many times. ...I think about LJ a lot. XD I find my dreams generally awesome, with a side order of bizarre. And yeah, that's about par for the course as far as my dreams go.

Nah, that figment of my dreams was posting way more often than you do. Well, unless you were, like, one of three people on my f'list or something, and the other two posted only once or twice a week. Then maybe it would've looked similar.

But but-! I could pay for people's icons and/or accounts at CFUD! It would be awesome!
