A few more Avatar images

soc_puppetSo, next Avatar DVD comes out in about a week. Hopefully, they'll remain consistant with the episode to disc ratio and it'll also have five, and thus not mess up my mental tally too much. Otherwise, I shall be sad.
Speaking of Avatar, while I did not have time yet to get started scanning Earth, I did take a few minutes to scan a couple other things to tide you over while you wait for it to go up tomorrow ♥ And here they are, behind this cut!
The front of my box of cheap-ass Avatar valentines, which I got at K-Mart for about three bucks and do not regret spending money on at all. Aang's eyes and tattoos are actually supposed to be 'glowy'/'holofoil', but scanning kinda fails to capture that. In fact, it turns anything holofoil to black, regardless of background color, which is why I'm still debating sharing the actual valenties, regardless of the fact that I already have them scanned.
The back of my box of cheap-ass Avatar valentines, which I got at K-mart yadda yadda yadda :Db The background of the 'actual size' Aang valentine is supposed to be silvery and also maybe have some mountains in it? Thankfully, the other 'example' valentines were not also holofoil on the back, so you can get an idea of what they look like this way ♥ Also, after checking the actual valentine, the one that I thought said, "We make a great Team Valentine!" actually says, "We make a great team, valentine!", diminishing its cool points by about five :( It was so much cooler when I thought it didn't have that comma there.
Zutara fans might be pleased to know that, as far as the stacking of the cards and the order of the pictures (before you cut them apart), Kataratopped directly overlapped Zuko. ...I really only noticed because they were the only two in that size that had a different nation symbol on the bottom of the card ^^a (...Those little white squares are actually little element symbols, by the way :D;; Since you might not be able to tell at this size/resolution.)
Also, maybe it's just me, but I think there's something terribly wrong, and at the same time terribly amusing, about Zuko wishing the recipient a "Happy Valentine's Day!" on that one card. It's just... the way it's worded makes him seem so enthusiastic XD
The stickers that came with the box of cheap-ass Avatar valentines that I got from--okay, shutting up now, really. Nothing really to say about these, aside from awarding points for actually having two Katara stickers per sheet. (The box came with two sheets, which were identical to one another, so no other stickers from this set.)
Special Bonus!
These are the 'flip book animation' stickers that came in the package of special promotion Avatar Airheads I got while on vacation back in late December/early January ¦D There's an unfortunate fold in the sticky paper, which seems to have made it so some of the color did not print correctly, but there they are regardless.
Anyway, other than that, haven't got a lot left to do today. Turned in a job app this one place, made plans to walk to the computer lab again tomorrow instead of driving (a.k.a., warned my parents that I would probably be home late), and will probably be doing more scanning tonight, but other than that I'm pretty free. In the mean time, I'll be sitting at the computer and praying that I manage to finally download Cats Don't Dance, instead of having to cancel with twenty minutes left again like I did last night. (I remain hopeful, but not that hopeful. Which is why I plan to come in early tomorrow afternoon, if at all possible.) If not, I guess I may just have to makepuppy kitten eyes at someone so they'll use HJ Split and upload it in pieces for me or something.
Also, uh, so I don't have nothing to do while I'm sitting here, I don't suppose anyone has a copy of Horton Hatches an Egg (by Dr. Suess) that they'd be willing to transcribe for me? ♥♥♥? I was enabled, you see, and I finally thought of a way to make it work, so. Otherwise, I'll probably just scrounge around for good fic to read.

Sadly, I do not have a copy of said Suess book. :< In fact.... I don't think we still have ANY of our Dr. Suess books. I'm vaguely sure we donated them to charity or something like that. And also I am seconding the general idea of the Avatar fics mentioned in that thread you linked.
PS: Perhaps this is belated, but your rats are adorable. D: And I don't even like rats, so that's saying something.

Alas, alack DD: At least you donated them instead of throwing them away, though. XD I'm going to get to them, really! First one as soon as I get afromentioned transcript/visit the library to check out the book for myself.
PS: It is a teensy bit belated, but I am glad to hear it from you nonetheless ♥♥♥ And the pet rats vs. wild rats thing definitely makes a difference, just let me say. Pet rats are 90% cuter.

Yeah. We pretty much give all the stuff we don't use anymore to Goodwill. I don't think we ever throw any stuff like that away. I await them eagerly. :D
PS: I guess I never really paid attention to them before, because my brain was like, "Ew, rats," but then on a whim or perhaps by FATE I glanced and went, "...............♥♥♥"
