...I thought that this was being done [officially translated/released] by ADV manga. I mean, not that I'm complaining that TokyoPop has it instead - for one thing, it looks like they actually translated the furigana for Tengu correctly - but, uh. Confused?

...Actually debating signing up for the whatever-it-is on TokyoPop's site. On the one hand, it's just another whatever-it-is that I won't end up using for the intended purpose (90% chance). On the other hand, I get one of those and it's like TokyoPop is putting out scanlations. ...Yeah. Not that dubious legality isn't tasty and all, but uh. ...I'm confused. Mostly in a WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS, I THOUGHT THEY WERE TRYING TO MILK US FOR EVERY PENNY WE HAD, THIS MAKES NO SENSE IN THAT CONTEXT sort of way. It's like... like they might actually be interested in, say, giving us what we want, or manga for manga's sake or something, a hypothesis only backed up by all the content I can see on the front page alone that is unrelated to their own titles. So, I guess the decision is: tasty free manga to read and have and hold (that is even officially translated and everything) versus yet another blogging system that has far too many people incapable of basic spelling. Tough choice.

On a mostly unrelated note, they need to update their RSoM introduction page. I wanna start getting ready to submit something for volume eight, dammit!

On a completely unrelated note, ow cramps ow x_x At least it's getting warmer out here.

Yeah, but I figured it would be a good idea to mail them and make sure. Besides, CFUD does technically already have a CafePress store, so. Anyway, the response I got to my first letter was an "I don't see anything wrong with it, but let me talk this over with the other mods, and kick me if I take more than a week." Worst comes to worst, I'll just offer to mail out pre-printed transfers and just ask for reimbursement on the shipping or something, but hopefully I'll be able to make a little money.

...Actually, after double-checking the e-mail I got, lemme reword that summary: it was more of an, "I'm going to have to talk this over with the other mods, because there's pros and cons, but I can't see any issues at the moment." The 'kick me if it takes more than a week' stands.
