Ponderings
May. 24th, 2007 03:20 pm...Hey, is it weird to think of a character as 'yours' before you get in with them and if you'll probably give up on reapping them in a fit of depression if you don't? (Not that I want to give up, but man, app failure blues are hard to fight DD: ...I should just rotate who I app or something, see if that helps.)
Also, I've been going over the character's canon again (mostly the parts where they appear), and I'm once again stumped at how people can dislike them. ...And then I remember that I was one of those people before an internet quiz Showed Me The Way, and I decided I'd damn well better like that character if I apparently was them on that quiz. ...The character was surprisingly easy to like, though, and I am now saddened by the fact that I seem to be about the only person who feels this way, and by how many people think the character is dense/ditsy/etc. (It really doesn't help that it seems to be done in canon, too =_= CHARACTER NOT STUPID, KTHX. Just... differently engaged.)
Anyway, to connect the first paragraph to the second, I've heard its fairly ...normal, I guess, for people to associate themselves with the characters they play at CFUD, but I don't really know that it's healthy for me to do so yet. Or helpful. Or any number of things. So I should definitely not actually be insulted whenever someone insinuates that the character is stupid >: ...This appears to be more easily said than done, unfortunately. *sigh* When all this is over, I am so going to make that character a shrine or something. Or at least look for one.
On a vaguely related note, it appears that CFUD Scanlation Team is a go o_O I'll have to try and balance things so I don't end up spamming CFO too much.
Edit: Everyone and his pet account is dropping at CFUD DD: They are dropping like flies, they are. Even long-term people that I never thought I'd see leave >: This is sad-making.
Edit 2: WTF, Yahoo!, start sending my my gorram comment notifications already. And also regular emails. Bitch.
