Update-ish-ness

Had to separate my rats last night DD: Ford was bleeding via a wound on his shoulder, and this time I actually saw the blood leaking. (He already has a series of scabs under his chin, but Arthur does as well, so I assumed that meant he was holding his own.) I'm worried about the boys, so I'm going to try and find a nice LJ Fancy Rat comm and see if they have any info on excessive grooming where the result isn't so much bald rats (Barbering, I believe it's called?) as it is clumps of hair are being pulled out with little bits of ... yeah, on the ends. Should I be giving them more protein? Less? Less space? More space? More toys and attention? SOMEONE TELL ME, I DON'T WANT MY BABIES TO HURT DDD:

Have caught up on both HOLiC and T:RC as of ...yesterday-ish, Thank You Very Much Miss Lyzz. Aldkjsfdlkf Faaaaiiii. I also have some thoughts on duality and so forth, but those can be saved for people who are also caught up so I don't risk spoilerifiying people who don't want to be spoilerified. PS: Someone app Kohane already. Also, third name I've seen where it's written as a date but pronounced as something else. Wonder what the origin is. (Already picked up Hozuki (I think that's what it was?) (Wheat harvesting or something) and Watanuki ("without cotton," and there's a fic/concept in itself) from Detective Conan, so.)

Hope to be getting to the kink!fic meme within the next few hours; I'm having a lot of fun, so I may have to pull it out again in the future.

It occurred to me not long after I got thesuzukimethod in that my first voting round would be for counselors. So. Should I be petrified of this, or hilaritized? I'm wavering between the two at the moment. Hopefully I'll settle on the latter.

Don't know if I'll be on tonight; I may or may not be pushing the family to go see Ratatouille. WHICH EVERYONE SHOULD ABSOLUTELY GO SEE NOW NOW NOW NOW. Beautiful movie. *harts it* (PS: Go to an afternoon showing and app Colette! And Linguine! And Gusteau (possibly, if he's appable)! And Remy (could possibly be apped as either Camper or Counselor? Mature for a rat, but that's at something like six months old, so. Also, language issues to worry about maybe, unless Camp Babel Fish also translates Rat.)!!!

On the movies being seen/not seen note, one of our local theaters is going to be showing the Turtle movie sometime around July 11th, and apparently you can get in to see it for something like two-fifty. I hope to redeem myself for missing it the first time around at that point in time.

And that's all I've got for now. NOW GO SEE THAT MOVIE!

Edit: ...I seem to have located my vocabulary. How unexpectedly pleasant.

Edit 2: Pretty sure that the rat thing is just a scratching problem. I'll need to find a file and trim their nails more regularly. Also, my rats are officially not allowed in the unmowed parts of our yard. (rat_health is a Godsend.)

Kohane socute :< YES HE IS, I LOVE IT SO ♥♥♥ [Duality spoiler speculation] CLAMP seems to be hitting similar themes with HOLiC and T:RC at the moment - the whole separation of physical body and 'magical' body, the idea of two separate beings and "if there was only one, it would be okay", all that stuff. Makes one wonder what degree of unification is going to be involved. [/Duality spoiler speculation] Anyway, Kohane would be extra extra cute in camp, methinks.

XD Hilaritized it is, then! (Well no, but that doesn't mean I can't treat it like one. Just like Wrongderful!) And man, Lyzz, every few days I stop and remind myself that I am actually a player now, I finally made it, and my mind is still completely blown.

(Did I say that? I didn't say that. ♥) Yes you are, and I am so very proud of you. ♥ You should have seen me that night. I had friends spending the night for my b-day party and I was refreshing the vote page every five minutes. When it was finally closed and I saw that you got in, I practically spazzed, and my friends were all like, "wtf?" XD It was pretty awesome.

I want to go see it almost entirely because of the small penguin who calls the other one a "dirty trash can full of poop". :D And also, yes, surfing penguins.

WELL, I'D BETTER BE LEAVING FOR THE THEATER NOW. (The nice theater is about 45 minutes away, and I will NOT go to our awful one for this movie.) BE BACK SOON. ♥♥♥ GODDAMMIT IT HAD BETTER STOP STORMING BEFORE I GET THERE.

[Spoilers] Weren't they already trying to do that with all their series and the cameos and such? X3 Not that I can really complain.... Also, I would be very unsurprised.

I kinda have the bad feeling that CLAMP is gonna make Watanuki and Doumeki merge/fuse to make them/the shop's 'world' more stable or something. Which, yanno, wouldn't be terribly awful if it meant that they had to share semen or something, but that's probably not going to be it. It's more likely going to have something to do with the egg thing. Also, I want to know what Kohane does with her baloon.

Also also, I'm wondering if Fai and ...Fai will end up merging. Because that would help fix things, really! 'Specially since I'm actually pretty sure now that the second curse is them being twins and stuff, or at least has to do with that. And yeah. Ditto to Mokona and Mokona, since they also seem 'split'. ...Dunno what it means for Maru and Moro, though. [/Spoilers] I was so excited when CLAMP gave us her name. (They so don't name characters casually in that manga. I think that the only name they've thrown for a character-of-the-day so far has been the cat that gave Watanuki the lantern thing. Everyone else? NAMELESS except for the main characters.) *sends mind beams to HOLiC readers*

I actually kinda like that all the side characters are nameless. It makes them more mysterious. :D Also, you can tell when a character you like is going to stick around (or at least be seen again). LIKE KOHANE. :DDD
