Hate being sick DD: Distraction mode: on!

Okay, first of all? This was actually something I'd been wondering about since at least The Swamp. No, seriously. I mean, if there's enough water in plants to bend, why can't there be enough water in people to bend? Aren't we supposed to be something like 70% water? So I am not at all surprised they pulled it off for the show, though I am delighted.
Gotta worry about all those plants they pulled the water out of, though. I mean, we know the spirits weren't interfering before, but now? Yeowch. They'll probably accept that justice has been served in this case, but if waterbenders start pulling that shit negligently, I imagine retribution will be had.
Also, my money says that the reason they can only do it on full moon nights is because otherwise their bending ability can't override free will. Unless plants really do just have That Much More Water, in which case I have forgotten my stats. Also also, that would be a really terrible way to kill someone. (See kids, this is why you never want to go up against a healer on the battlefield: it's not that they know more ways to kill you than the trained warriors, it's that they know more ways to make you Not Live, and could probably put that knowledge to serious use. One day, I totally have to use this idea to my advantage. Killer phlebotomist on the loose! Or something.)
XD Sokka's still hung up on Yue. Sokka has three girlfriends? And still no news of Suki, I see.
While I'm at it, it's yet another episode without Zuko-tachi. I really have to wonder what's up with him. I can't help but think that we're missing out on serious character and plot development here. I mean, yes, the show is named after Aang, but it really is almost as much about Zuko.
I totally want creator commentary on this episode, because I can tell it would be awesome to hear. And who wants to bet that the one girl you always see by Hama is actually Gran-Gran/Kana? Want moar Kanaaaaaa DD:
O hay, Toph's using the meteor dust! \o/ I still wanna say it'll be used for something bigger later, like how Katara's necklace was kidnapped and then returned and then we found out that it was from Master Pakku (etc) and was thus much more significant to the plot/character development. Even if not, it has still more-or-less fulfilled its requirements to my mind.
Moving on, concert with One Voice (I wanna say Minnesota) gay chorus tonight! And I am still sick DD: I'll probably just stand there and mouth the words along with our group, then. Or maybe Linda and/or Marlys will send me home :/ I'm almost hoping not, because I invited people, but then I won't get to sleep really late until, what, next Friday? Not that I've been able to sleep long into the day anyway...
Also, tentative schedule As Far As I Know for Thanksgiving week-ish follows!
Saturday: Leave Iowa
Sunday, Monday: Spend in Sherman
Tuesday: Spend in Dallas
Wednesday: Leave for Houston; visit Dinosaur park on the way.
Thursday: Thanksgiving! Food.
Friday: See Lucy exhibit.
Saturday: Possibly start home.
Sunday: Home, I'm guessing.
Sadly there is no "Go visit NASA :Dbbb" time in there, especially 'cuz my brother has this NASA internship and I think it would thus be kinda cool, but I'll live.
And that is all, I believe.
Edit: Seeing Lucy (really old bones, BTW) moved to Friday after seeing the calendar.
