HAY GAIZ, guess who's getting her ADD and IQ retested? 8Db G-guess who is also doing better than she did last time, to the surprise of herself? 99.9th percentile, uh. W-wow. My analytical problem solving abilities have increased, though my ability to do mindless repetitive tasks has gone down. (I know, big loss, huh?) I'm also no longer below average in any category (hooray!), though I apparently must learn to accept that I have "slow handwriting" :/ ...My psychologist also says that I could probably get into MENSA. Uh. I. W-what? My psychologist is glad, because the results will prove to any doubters that I am smart, I just suck at doing homework. I'm just kinda gloating inside over the results. Now watch as I post this and end up average with the rest of my f'list ¦D;

Currently working diligently on family's Christmas card and my own holiday card (sign-up post here, for anyone who's missed it :Db). Except by currently I mean "at times today". I still vow to have them done by the time we really need to get them sent out, if for no other reason than my parents are paying me money to make the family card 8Dbbb

Caught Tin Man last night. Was quite charmed. I expect someone to be apping DG for CFUD in the near future, or I shall be saddened. Plan to leave the lab (slightly) early tonight so I can catch the second showing of today's episode.

Hoping to at least express my desire to adopt pet rats at the Kirkwood tech department tomorrow. With any luck, I'll arrange to take two home with me. If things don't work out there though, I'll either have to ask [livejournal.com profile] ratties if there are breeders in the area, or return to the dreaded pet store.

And I am tired now, so I think I'll just stop typing.

Yeaaah, that's what I do, too. Though I should really get retested. I gots a nearly perfect score on one of the IQ tests several years ago, but I might have gotten dumber. orz I-I blame Heroes.

Rainbow Connection makes me cry EVERY TIME. Because Jim Henson died the day I was born. And. And. ;m;

Yup! I've met people who've done that before. (And I know I got a perfect score on at least the spatial part, maybe more. I only missed a point or two off the entire test. Dang it! If I scored the highest on spatial, why can't I draw? So not fair.) Honestly, though, by comparing and contrasting those people (I went to a gifted school, so I met a few of them), I've come to the conclusion that IQ is really not all there is to intelligence. For example, my grandfather got a perfect score on an IQ test, but he was one of the dumber men I've ever met, and he completely ruined his life through really bad, ill-informed choices. IQ tests test a certain sort of 'intelligence', but ignore a lot of other things that factor into it, too. And there are the multiple intelligences to think about, too... And the emotional intelligences! ^^'' I think I'm a little jaded when it comes to intelligence testing. I think that a lot of really smart people are being passed over, just because they don't have the same sort of intelligence that the test-makers do.

ahahaha. but I'll get off of my soapbox.

It's trueee. I didn't like some of the cameos, but the characters themselves were awesometastic and socute. I used to play the Muppets computer game all the time when I was tiny.
