I want one. Badly. Even just personal sized. (No rats allowed, though, 'cuz I'd never find 'em again.)

I am so putting this on my list of things to get when I have money.

We've been joking at my work, on getting this shelf moved out from behind the main checkin desk, that we should put in a ball pit. This just justifies my opinion that all adults need a personal ball pit.

You know, I am surprised a convention hasn't thought to have a ballpit or a bouncy castle or something like that. Our smaller local convention has this awesome balloon sculpture guy they hire. This year, they had a Mario Cart, a Pirate ship (that went floor to ceiling if you counted the mast) and a Panda- along with some other small ones. The guy also did commissions of weapons and hats and whatnot, and on Saturday night, there was a girl in a dress made of nothing but balloons.

...Brilliant! We have a couple of unused cubicles at work. It would be no work at all to take out the remaining desk pieces and enclose it (especially if you consider the fact we once shrinkwrapped a co-worker's cubicle for her birthday).

*nods* That has entered my personal list of things I lust after. Can you imagine how fun it would be to be buried in there and then spring out when people enter the room?

...not that you would EVER do that, huh? XD

I did, though, when a friend's little girl had a birthday party at one of those animatronic-critter pizza places. It was GREAT! Baaaaaaaalll-pit!

Y'know, I think if I had the financial backing, I'd start a business that catered to adult birthday-parties with childlike themes-- not clowns and stuff, but... well, my next decade-birthday will feature something I've always wanted to do: a full-scale 3-stooges-style pie fight. Admission will be three pies, all edible, no coconut or mince (too damn heavy); the fight will be filmed behind a window, and all attendants will get CDs of the action. I've been planning on it for YEARS.

Wouldn't a business that put on things like that be great? And not just kiddie-things-- If you wanted a birthday surrounded by hula-dancers, they'd be provided; if you wanted to spend your birthday walking the entire Appalachian Trail, that'd be worked out; or things like warfare paintball-games, 18th-century themed full-dress masquerade balls, nude skydiving, whatever; for enough cash, just about anything'd go.

Ooooohh. Need a cold shower. That is DEFINITELY a dream-job for Yours Truly.
