Well, yeah. But I drive a school bus. I spend a good ten to fifteen minutes of each route on the interstate (thankfully with no kids on board). And people keep saying that this winter is supposed to be worse than last winter, which was so bad that the university canceled classes for the first time in ten years, and after which the ground was so saturated that we were completely unprepared for the horrible amounts of rain that got dumped on us, resulting in a flood worse than the one in '93.

So, in the sense that it's pretty white flaky things drifting down from the sky, then I suppose it's rather nice to look at. But in the sense that this is the harbinger of horrible, horrible driving times and potential city evacuation, it's ugly as sin.

Thank you~! And at the moment it's about 33 degrees Fahrenheit out, so it's more slushy on the pavement than anything, but tomorrow is supposed to be more like 27 degrees, so :( At least it's happening on a weekend, giving the city a little time before my morning route to clear the roads.

All I have to do is keep from having an accident in the next three weeks, and I get my safety bonus T^Tb And I'm reasonably confident in my ability to drive in the snow, and they did give me a smaller bus recently (though whether this will be good or bad for my driving ability I have yet to determine), so. Fingers crossed here, as well.
