Okay, I've got about twenty minutes before I need to meet my ride to work. I can totally find out where I can e-mail The Colbert Report writers about this story - even though I'm pretty sure there's not going to be a zombie outbreak this time.

Edit: O rite, they don't do shows on Friday nights. I've got the whole weekend to get this to them. That makes things easier. *relaxes somewhat (though is still boogie-ing down in general)*

...you know, I have noticed that Iowans tend to be very, very proud of their homegrown. Got an Iowan athlete in any big sporting event? WE ARE SO THERE AND SO CHEERING LIEK WHOA.

BUT THIS IS INCREDIBLE. I CAN'T BELIEVE OUR STATE ACTUALLY DID THIS. I'm just enjoying the victory for what it is before the inevitable honking starts from way over there on the right. You know of which I speak ~_~

We soooo are, it's true :3b I just make the comparison because my mom tells about how, when she first came up from Texas, it took her the longest time to figure out that when we said, "Iowa! We're okay!" we meant the same thing that Texans meant when they said, "Texas! We're the biggest and the best ever!"

It is soooooooooo awesome. Man, I don't even have enough 'o's for how awesome this is. IOWA, I WOULD GAY-MARRY YOU IF YOU HAD AN ANTHROPOMORPHIC PERSONIFICATION. THAT WAS FEMALE. AND I'D AT LEAST DRAG-MARRY YOU IF YOUR ANTHROPOMORPHIC PERSONIFICATION WERE MALE!
