Both of these come via the Dreamwidth Latest Things Feed, which I swear is usually not quite so full of "LJ sucks rocks", but, well, people tend to complain about the things they care about where they can, so.

For those of you who want to stay on LJ! Via sholio, who got it from agwt101: This here is a list of current workarounds for the new comment pages. If you liked the old ones and aren't afraid to do a little work to get them back, this might be worth checking out.

For those of you who are giving DW more consideration! Via elrhiarhodan, who heard about it from hoosierbitch, who may or may not have heard it straight from the horse's mouth:

Edit 2: The ETA for importing communities has been pushed back to "hopefully sometime this week". Considering that they're estimating a good 10K new journals created today, plus however many of those and their previous users want to import their individual content, plus one of the main staffpeople has a brand new baby at home (though Oliver is doing his best to help out), I'm really not terribly surprised.
