What I'm working on

1. I've got some Adventure Time Dreamsheep icons up here at dreamsheep. It's not nearly all the Adventure Time icons I want to make with the Dreamsheep, but it's definitely a start.

I'm also thinking of making Dreamsheep icons for Homestuck (trolls, god tier symbols/colors, kid symbols/colors maybe), Problem Sleuth (Dreamsheep in a fedora, a bowler, and possibly performing Sepulchritude), and MLP:FIM (cute marks + colors), at the very least, but finishing my Adventure Time set comes first.

2. I finally got my butt on Etsy! Or, well, signed up for an account, at least. ...Can anyone tell me where the hypothetical Helpful Hints for Etsy Noobs section is? I read the TOS, privacy policy highlights, the community guidelines/dos-and-don'ts, the copyright policy, the fees overlook, and all that jazz, and now I just want a basic tutorial on how to set stuff up. Or even just a nice outline for how to arrange my profile/store data/whatever. I don't like not knowing what I'm doing. It's basically my least favorite thing after garbage politics.

3. WIPs: Tetris blanket is pinned and ready for sewing. Jig the Goblin plush is ready for eyes, tusks, and glasses (and also a loincloth and maybe Awesome Boots, but those don't involve hot glue as immediately). Griffin plush is just starting out but is looking swell so far and has the potential to be easy to adapt into a smaller dragon pattern; I'm also procrastinating on making its beak and am not entirely sure how I feel about its current neck/body drafts, so we'll see how those go. I still think it's gonna turn out awesome, though.

Oh awesome, thank you <3 When their reading material kept going on about how they wanted to emphasize the community, I kept expecting there to be an Etsy 101 page somewhere, or even a few nice "for beginners" posts stickied at the forums, but no such luck. I guess Dreamwidth has spoiled me.

Certainly! Yeah, for how much they go "community zomg" somehow I've managed to miss the whole community, idk.

I am also on Etsy. XD I have also completely missed the community bus. Guess I'm just special that way? (Or a loner. Or 'community' doesn't mean what they think it means. I dunno. XD;;; )

My vote's on "Community doesn't mean what they think it means", personally.

My shop's not actually set up yet (still) ^^a I finally got some good pictures of some of the stuff I want to sell, though, so I'm hoping for this afternoon.
