I've got pet rats, and have for several years; I love them to bits ♥ They are fantastic pets.

I'm jealous! I really want to have rats, someday when I have my own place. (They'd have to live at the opposite end of said place from the snake; but I can make it work!) I have names picked out and everything. :D

I'd prefer rats to mice, but I have to confess that, when I was working in a pet store, the "Silky" mice we sometimes received mixed into our random mouse shipments were insanely cute as well as pretty, and I might settle for them instead of rats, depending.
