Things I should possibly post about

In addition to a bakery program, the community college I attend has an equestrian program. This is relevant, because the Hospitality Center parking lots are just a few short feet away from the horse pastures. I frequently see horses as I walk between my car and the building, which makes me smile.
Today, after a morning adventure with my friend and classmate Rin, I noticed there was a horse down in the near corner of the middle pasture. It was on its side with its legs stretched out.
Knowing that being off their feet in general is bad for horses, and being on their side is especially bad, I moved as quickly as was reasonable to ask the administrator in the Hospitality Center to call the equestrian program and let them know. She said she would call right away. I then had to rush to get changed into my uniform for class.
I stopped by the office after to see if the administrator had heard anything about the horse, which I knew was highly unlikely. She hadn't heard anything, but said she would let me know if she did.
I really hope they were/are able to do something for that horse. I'm intellectually aware that I made the best decision I could, and I know a little time can make all the difference in some cases, but I may never find out how things turned out.
If I don't learn anything in a week, I may stop by the equestrian program to ask in person, tie off this emotional loose end. I've got my fingers crossed for you, horse.
