News from the pre-convention front

soc_puppetT-minus IDK how many hours until the convention, woo! (Thirteen-ish, I think?)
* A good two hours of Thursday at Registration HQ were practically Friday-ish in nature. This annoys me greatly. I don't want to have to deal with Friday until Friday, 'cuz Friday sucks beyond the telling of it. (Kids, be nice to the Reg staffers; we work hard.)
* On the plus side, I did get a bunch of Barney stickers made for List of Shame use ♥
* Also on the plus side, I got to close up before midnight, woo! Closed at ten o'clock, oh yeah ¦3b
* I have sworn that I am either closing on Friday, or opening on Saturday, NOT BOTH. Because I've done both two, three years in a row now, and I am tired of it. Especially as I'm already going into this a quarter sleep-deprived. (Yes, Nin, I did get to sleep last night after finishing stuff; I slept twelve hours. Unfortunately, I also woke up tired 9_9a)
* Did not get any writing done today, alas! I had forgotten how much general socializing is involved in being a con staffer. Whoops. At least I've got most of Burupya's limbs finished. ("At least". Totally should not even have started him yet, and I say "at least". Sigh.)
I think there might have been more, but if there was, it has completely slipped my mind. Oh, well!
