soc_puppetSo Shaker Meganology found a kitten in her backyard! Actually two kittens, but one of them got away before she could catch it. She did catch one, though, and the kitten is super cute and also blind, and I was just like, I have to crochet her.

First picture is of the cat charm by itself. Second pic is with a traditional cat charm for eyes/no eyes comparison. Third pic is next to a keychain fob for size reference.
I have the biggest soft spot for crocheting animals with disabilities, especially visible disabilities, since invisible disabilities look just like any other typically abled animal ;P They don't always sell very well, though, so I don't do it as often as I like. I've made several tripod cats, and some manx cats, but apparently the cats that sell best are the ones that look like cats people already own. I should probably just go to the website for our local shelter and start crocheting based on the critters there and cross my fingers for luck, lol.
That said, one of these days I am definitely going to crochet a Wheelie Dog, I don't care how long it takes to sell. I will keep it myself if I have to.
