I finished that scene at crafting tonight! \o/ My very early interpersonal interactions did suffer a bit because of it, but I was fairly quick, so I got on to making actual conversation in relatively short order.

The scene did end up having a couple of lines in it on paper that I regret, and am going to viciously remove when typing it up. They seem fairly realistic, but they're a microaggression, and fuck it, I don't have to include them if I don't want to. If I'm writing this for me, I am damn well going to exclude something that makes me unhappy or worry too much. I'm still going to want a polyam sensitivity reader, but I'm already feeling better for this decision. If anyone complains that it isn't there, they can fuck directly off. I'm writing something that makes me happy, and that's what I care about right now.

Well, the part I was looking forward to for that scene was basically the last four sentences, but there's also plenty of good parts coming up, too :3

The plot's basically:
- Main character is in love with two people and torn up about it
- Main character learns about polyamory; suddenly the world opens up!
- Main character starts making arrangements for happy polycule with the two people she's into
- Main character discovers that the two people she's into are actually the same person (whee, secret identities!)
- Wrap-up: Main character is relieved that that's sorted out, but having thought it through already has decided/figured out she's still into polyamory, and didn't she just hear a certain cutie talk about how they were totally into her own alter-ego? What are your thoughts, New Boyfriend? :D?
