What about considering what you will do if another attendee is afraid of your animal? How will you cope if the presence of your ESA upsets/unnerves someone else?
I don't mind labradors, GSDs, etc, which are your classic service dogs, but dislike small dogs like Yorkies as I've been bitten by one, so is isn't always a blanket "serivce dogs are okay so all dogs are okay". For others, the dislike may be a fear where they ask you to leave or become distressed. (If you are running a convention, you should also consider what you would do in this scenario.)
